Just came back from a basketball match with my mates ,
Took a shower , had my Carls Junior Burger and decided to do some Designs .
When I started Clicking on the mouse , the pain is excruciating and when I looked at my finger , its turned a nice shade of purple . Seems like I've sprained it when trying to get to a loose ball. Oh well , I'll just have to click with my middle finger instead of the index for the time being .
I'm massaging it with some Chinese Medication oil at the moment . The stench is horrid . . . Hopefully I'll have recovered by Tuesday in time for work .

Oh ya I've found a Job in a Local Jewelery firm as a Graphics Designer . Seems like the lady who interviewed me last Wednesday like the work that I've showed her . An office full of ladies a heaven for me , no offense to my gf but which guy wouldn't want a office full of pretty ladies to look at.

Now for some bitching .

Last Thursday I was suppose to have an Interview with another lady in AIA for the position for Graphics Designer , But when I reached there I noticed something weird as AIA is a well known insurance company , why would they want to hire a Graphic designer in the main building . But I decided to go for it any way.

I found the office I was suppose to meet the lady , greeted her and went in . Switched on my laptop , showed her my portfolio and we started chatting .

She then complimented me on my art works and here comes the stunner.
She told me she's not looking for a Graphics Designer but for a Financial Planner/Insurance Agent. I was like WTF ! So I asked , I thought I'm supposed to be applying for the position of graphics designer ??
She then told me , I "called" for you because in your Resume you look very presentable (*points at my resume photo) and over the phone you sound really friendly and professional. So I want to recruit you under my wing as a "Financial Planner".
I'm like WTF , you want to employ me because of my looks ???
I stayed for her "talk" none the less , she shared that she can earn 100K a month or around a million a year *Ohhh Really, But no thanks *, after an hour I managed to talk my way out of it and left the building , saying I'm still more into finding a job as a GD then a FP . So I'll get back to you if I'm interested .

That totally pissed me off ... Got Conned into interview for a Job that I've no interest at all ... Professionalize my foot !

*My finger still hurst*

Been Feeling really sick this past week .
Was down with Cough and sore throat .
Which affected everything that I do .
And to make it even worst , I went for 2 job interviews a Graphic Designer and didn't get a position. . . Yet , But freight not , I'll continue trying ... Worst come to worst , I'll get a job as an air steward (much to gf's dismay"

Ok back to my new art , i'm currently working on 3 different art works ,
2 of which are my usual vector characters and another is a montage of a color palate .

Finally Graduated from my School and earned myself a piece of cert.
After 3 years what did I learn from RP ??
Nothing ...
Wait ... I did learn how to bullshit my way out of trouble , I did learn how to do powerpoint and I kinda learnt how to upped my guard against devious people .
Now that I've left school , i noticed how little that god forsaken place has taught me.
I'm a design student , basically any design school should have courses teaching Adobe Photoshop , Adobe Illustrator , Adobe after effect , 3D , dreamweaver ,Flash , etc etc .
But in my case , the only program that used in school happens to be Microsoft Power Point , AWESOME.
Photoshop was teach by a very nice gentleman who kinda teaches it in school as an activity , he teaches how to draw and such , so kinda learn something from him .
Adobe illustrator ?? If you've been following my works , you'll notice that most of my stuffs are made with Illustrator , all these skills , I learnt from Youtube and by practicing with it. School taught me Zilch ...

Adobe Flash ?? I have 2 lesson on it , each lesson was about 8 hours , from which only 1 hour was a tutorial from the teacher and the rest of the days was you trying to make out how to play with Flash. End product ?? A fluttering flower being blown to bits in the wind . Awesome .

Adobe premier and after effects was every more limited . I didn't have any contact with it and was fascinated by this program called the sony vegas when i was looking for video editing tutorials online . Slowly I learn how to do effects and was kinda good with it.

So at the end of the day , who taught me more ??
The school ?? or The internet ??

To anybody reading this , and intending to study in Singapore , do not attend this school called The Republic Polytechnic .
With this I do hope my Application for NTU goes through ... Crosses Finger . . .

Just came into DA and noticed that my DP has been changed to an Image of Robert Pattinson or Edward Cullen as he was famously known to be.

Not really a fan of the movie nor the actor , pale , stocky and sickly looking guys not a thing for me , give me Megan Fox or Ann Hathaway any day and I'll take it !

So I decided to remove the DP manually , But to my horror , i'm unable to do it , whats worst is theres this fan girl text on the top screaming TEAM EDWARD in bold Pink Font !!!!!!!!! <-- and all these exclamation mark .

God please don't do this to me .

But glad I'm not alone , as I see everybody has their DP changed to either GAGA or the rest of the Vampire gang .

Hope it won't last long , I can't stand seeing my DP with the image of another guy's face .
